Tuesday the Track Team will travel to Wakefield. Wednesday the PTA will sponsor the Honor Roll Celebration. Students who earned all A’s for the third quarter will be honored at a morning ceremony. 8th grade will be from 8:20 – 8:45, 7th grade 8:55 – 9:25 and 6th grade 9:35 – 10:05. Teaching teams will honor the students who earned a GPA of 3.0 at a team ceremony during the day. Wednesday afternoon the soccer team will play West Millbrook and the Animal Science Club meets after school. Thursday the softball team will travel to West Millbrook for a double header. Friday the Student Council will sponsor a dance from 7 – 9 pm in the gym. Tickets will be on sale for $5 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during lunches. The Student Council is also accepting snack donations for the dance. Donations of individually wrapped cookies or chips will be greatly appreciated. One additional reminder, Dr, Aureen Wagner will present a workshop for parents and families to share strategies for helping students deal with stress and anxiety. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 29th from 6:30 – 8:30 in the auditorium at Leesville High. There is no charge for the workshop. Additional information can be found on our web site.
